The purpose of the night mode is to reduce the load to eyes when using MyBible in darkness.
Since the MyBible user interface employs a lot of colors (including the text highlighting and underlining colors), it is not feasible or practical to pick for every aspect of the user interface a color acceptable for both day and night mode. That is why in MyBible theme settings every color is adjusted twice: separately for the day mode and separately for the night mode.
How to turn the night mode on and off?
There are several ways of manual engaging and disengaging of the night mode:
- Bible window header button with the moon icon
- “night mode” in the “Screen” submenu
- touching the Bible text with three fingers during a second
However, it is recommended to check “Follow system dark mode” in the “Screen” submenu.
