{"id":4141,"date":"2024-08-25T15:13:53","date_gmt":"2024-08-25T12:13:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybible.zone\/?p=4141"},"modified":"2024-08-25T15:31:50","modified_gmt":"2024-08-25T12:31:50","slug":"modules-problem-2024-08-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybible.zone\/uk\/modules-problem-2024-08-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Modules downloading problem"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>August 25, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-cc108297-76f2-439c-99c0-4cf4c1f96903\">Due to recent manipulations with the MyBible modules registry (adding of another hosting server and the follow-up re-generation of the registry), a MyBible defect that wasn&#8217;t noticed until recently can cause a mistaken mesage that the MyBible modules registry does not function, and a subsequent inability to download modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-88986c75-6fc8-46b2-996f-84b6348b8d49\">The problem in the MyBible code has already been fixed for the upcoming release of MyBible 5.8.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-3aca788d-88ba-4277-802d-6d176eac4cb3\">In order to overcome this problem with the current version of MyBible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol id=\"block-06d4fb0e-887a-4511-b636-1306fdbe709f\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect your device via a USB cable to a PC or Mac. If the device will ask for the files tranfser mode confirmation &#8211; give that confirmation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the Windows Explorer on your PC, or using the Android File Transfer app on your Mac, navigate in the device&#8217;s file system to the directory \/Android\/data\/ua.mybible\/files\/MyBible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find and delete the file persisted_registry.json<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-511993ec-e48c-483f-90a9-19d2e957b3e3\">Support: <a href=\"mailto:support@mybible.zone\">support@mybible.zone<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 25, 2024 Due to recent manipulations with the MyBible modules registry (adding of another hosting server and the follow-up re-generation of the registry), a MyBible defect that wasn&#8217;t noticed until recently can cause a mistaken mesage that the MyBible modules registry does not function, and a subsequent inability to download modules.
