⬆︎ All main functionality usage tips
- Maps are dictionaries with scanned images of maps in their articles.
- Topic names for such dictionaried are biblical toponyms.
- It is convenient to assign a special gesture (for example, a circular gesture – see Dictionary nuances) on a Bible word to searching only in dictionaries (not in lexicons). Then a circular gesture on a Bible word which is a toponym opens a corresponding map – because toponyms are present as dictionary topic names only in dictionaries with maps.
- Compared to other dictionary types, which typically only contain a text in their articles, dictionaries with maps contain map images and also a JavaScript code, which shows a corresponding place on the map, supports zooming with two fingers, and also opens the image to the entire screen upon a touch on it.
