The “Word enhancements for TTS” window lets you enter, correct, and maintain the list of word enhancements for a better TTS. You can have several named sets of word enhancements; also look in the “Modules” window for downloadable bundles with word enhancement sets.
- A word enhancement for TTS can be done by placing of an accent to a correct place: put the keyboard cursor after an appropriate vowel and tap the button with the down-left arrow.
- You can also change the word\’s letters to achieve its better pronouncing by the TTS.
- You can enter an enhancement for any occurrence of the word or for a particular Bible verse only – the latter has the priority then.
- Google TTS engine appears to be more controllable for TTS pronunciation, so if you have a Samsung device, select the Google Text-to-speech engine by long touching the TTS button in the window header, or select that engine to be used by default in Android TTS settings.
